Yandile Nuku

Yandile has an honours degree in Accounting and Finance, specialising in strategic performance management. She has experience in financial services, broadcasting, talent development, and innovation support.

As a Regional Programme Manager under the startup support practice at Co-creation Hub Limited – Africa’s largest technology hub, Yandile is crucial in providing proactive support to innovators building solutions to address critical challenges in Africa.

Additionally, she is responsible for Programme Management and design, Startup Portfolio Support, Partnership Engagement, Reporting, and Leading and supporting the preparation and development of proposals for new opportunities in the business.

Although Yandile’s work extends beyond Botswana, she co-founded a local innovation
agency called Nest Hubs in 2019, which went on to co-deliver a three-year regional innovation programme with Botswana Digital and Innovation Hub called the Southern Africa Innovation Support boost-up programme match-funded by the Finish government and five country governments in SADC including Botswana.

Th programme focused on identifying and supporting early-stage technology startups in SADC ( Botswana, Zambia, South Africa, Namibia and Tanzania ) with the opportunity to explore the European startup ecosystem through Finland.

As a professional broadcaster, Yandile is currently the Radio Botswana 2 (Rb2)
Breakfast programme host called ‘’ The Morning Loop,‘’ broadcasting weekly from 6 am to 9 am.

Yandile is currently a member of the Botswana National Youth Council and Africa Tech & Creative Group Boards. She has previously served on the British Council Youth Advisory Board for the new Narratives programme, which aimed at connecting youth in the UK and Africa, where she was selected to be the Co-Chair for Africa.

Through these roles, she has gained experience in board representation from a local, continental, and global perspective.
