To galvanise action and get resources, the story about Africa and climate change has to be better told. This requires greater reporting by media, documentary making, social media story-telling, and popular visualisation. Additionally, a recent study showed that more than 120 African coastal heritage sites are threatened by rising sea levels and erosion, with devastating effects for unique species and human history, unless urgent measures are taken to protect them. What opportunities exist for creating compelling narratives, and to further advance the documentation of climate on our heritage?
