One of the Agenda 2063 goals is free movement of people and capital. By 2016, just one African country offered open arrival visa or no visa access to citizens of ALL African countries. Today, five do, and 42 countries offer visa-free travel to the nationals of at least 5 other African countries.
The speakers on this panel will therefore explore some of the impediments to travel around the continent as well as opportunities and policies that can be put in place to achieve ease of travel.
