The pandemic presented the greatest number of challenges than any previous crisis – in lives, livelihoods, health, economy, security, education, family, religion, geopolitically – and governments found themselves calling up resources at unprecedented levels. In the end, Africa survived much better than the worst case scenarios had predicted. It was not by accident. What was the secret sauce?
